Career Recruitment Events
In the fall, the College of Pharmacy hosts a Career Expo for P1, P2 and P3 students and a Job Fair-P4 Interviews for the graduating Pharm.D. candidates; in the spring, P1 students participate in interviews with recruiters for summer job positions during the P1-P2 Internship Interview Fair.
The Career Mixer provides an opportunity for P1-P3 students to meet and interact with recruiters and colleagues who offer job opportunities to students who will have completed at least 30 hours of the professional program by the upcoming summer. This FREE event also allows first- through third-year students and recruiters to get to know each other in preparation for the spring semester Interview Day.

The annual Virtual P4 Job Fair interviews connects graduating Pharm.D. candidates
with dozens of placement recruiters with career opportunities throughout Houston,
Texas and the U.S.
Recruiters at the event represent a range of pharmacy organizations involved in community,
hospital/clinical, long-term care and managed care practice settings, consulting and
the pharmaceutical industry.
Recruiters can request interview sessions with up to 14 individual candidates in Zoom
breakout rooms.

The Internship/Job Interview Fair is set aside for recruiters with internship positions for students completing their first year (P1) and jobs for students in their second year (P2). For more information, please contact Kimberly Nguyen at
