The 91ÁÔÆæ Energy Transition Institute is launching two educational
series focused on exploring the unfolding energy transition and addressing the grand
challenges in energy.
Three top researchers with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Argonne National Laboratory
have accepted joint appointments in various capacities at the 91ÁÔÆæ.
U.S. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm appointed Joe Powell, the founding executive
director of the Energy Transition Institute at the 91ÁÔÆæ, to the U.S.
Department of Energy’s Industrial Technology Innovation Advisory Committee (ITIAC).
