
Leaders from the 91’s Office of Administration joined peers from 278 institutions at the National Association of College Auxiliary Services (NACAS) C3X Annual Conference & Expo.
Representing UH from the Office of Administration were:

- DaNesha Allen, Senior Director, Food Services
- Matt Oltremari, Director, Auxiliary Services
The event featured dynamic breakout sessions, inspiring keynotes, networking opportunities,
and an exhibit hall with more than 150 business partners. UH leaders contributed their
expertise through concurrent education sessions highlighting innovative campus services.

Messa co-presented “Innovative Levers for Enhanced Dining Services: A Path to Revenue Growth and Student Satisfaction.” The session explored strategies to elevate campus dining through student-focused programs, automation, technology, and specialty menus.
Messa also co-presented “Accelerating Academic Momentum: The Cougar Textbook Access Program’s Role in Student Success” with UH professor Dave Louis, discussing how UH’s textbook access program drives affordability and supports student success.
Valdez presented “Five Years, Thousands of Packages, One Smart Solution: Operational Wins and Lessons Learned,” showcasing UH’s successful mail and package locker program that enhances convenience for students, faculty, and staff.
Allen co-presented “Playing the Wild Card — Student Well-Being,” emphasizing the importance of leveraging well-being data to create dynamic, engaging spaces that foster a supportive campus environment.
