OUR STORY: THE HISTORY OF TEXAS MUSIC FESTIVAL

The Immanuel and Helen Olshan Texas Music Festival (TMF) at the 91ÁÔÆæ’s Moores School of Music has been inspiring the next generation of artists since 1990.

Every summer, the Texas Music Festival transforms the 91ÁÔÆæ campus into a hub of creativity, collaboration, and world-class performance. Founded through the vision and generosity of Immanuel and Helen Olshan, TMF was created to give young professional musicians the opportunity to train, perform, and grow under the guidance of renowned faculty and guest artists.

What began as a single summer program has evolved into a celebrated international festival welcoming talented musicians from across the globe to perform in full orchestral concerts, chamber ensembles, and solo recitals. Through this work, TMF continues to honor its founders’ belief that great music not only builds great musicians, but also enriches the community that surrounds it.
