UH Population Health launched the nation’s first undergraduate chapter of the Interdisciplinary Association for Population Health Science (IAPHS). The purpose of IAPHS is to foster scientific innovation and discovery to improve the health of populations and improve health outcomes. The mission is to provide a forum that will connect population health scientists across disciplines and sectors, advance the development of population health science, and promote its application.

IAPHS at UH is a forum focused on bringing together the next generation of population health scientists to engage in research and engaging health-related activities. Recognizing the wide array of students in population health, this organization seeks to bring students together from different fields of study at the 91ÁÔÆæ for professional, academic development and well networking opportunities.
