Limited Submissions
Limited submission proposals have some form of limitation imposed by the sponsor on the number and/or type of proposals an institution may submit in response to a particular funding opportunity announcement.
Limited Submissions Database
Your CougarNet ID and Password are required to access the database. Refer to Submission Instructions for more information.
When a limited submission stipulation exists, the Division of Research coordinates a pre-proposal process to determine which proposal(s) UH will submit to the sponsor.
Unless otherwise stated, the following documents are required for an internal limited submission application:
- Abstract (2 pages, including figures; consult the RFA for content appropriate to the competition)
- Biosketch
- Current & Pending Funding
- Cost Share Information (if required by the sponsor)
Internal Competitions
Should the number of candidates exceed the number of available application slots, a selection committee made up of the appropriate associate deans will select which proposal(s) will be submitted to the sponsor. The decision will be made as soon as possible following the internal due date, usually within 1-2 weeks.
