Prior to joining UH, Neuhauser served as the associate vice president for research and director of research computing at the University of Minnesota. She was the founding director of graduate studies of the Biomedical Informatics and Computational Biology graduate program and served as vice chancellor for academic affairs at the University of Minnesota Rochester.

"I feel honored to receive the award. I am fortunate to lead a team of excellent and very dedicated staff who work hard every day to improve our services. The award is really a reflection of their work," said Neuhauser.
