designLAB

Houston is our base and a logical beneficiary of the vast network of expertise that the College of Architecture and Design can apply to solve issues the city encounters. Solutions discovered in designLAB-Houston are transmutable to cities around the world. As the professional research arm of the college, designLAB generates preliminary design studies, research, and development work across the disciplines of architecture, planning, and industrial design. Faculty, students, alumni and partners work in teams to solve problems in a range of scales and for a range of clients.
